§ Pricing Guide
How much does a vehicle wrap cost?
Straight pricing ranges from a Bloomington, IL shop — not a national average from a calculator that doesn't know your vehicle. Most full wraps land between $2,500 and $7,500 installed; the rest of this page explains the four factors that move you inside that range.
Typical price ranges
| Vehicle | Coverage | Installed Price |
|---|---|---|
| Compact car / sedan | Full wrap | $2,500–$4,000 |
| SUV / crossover | Full wrap | $3,000–$5,000 |
| Full-size pickup | Full wrap | $3,500–$6,000 |
| Cargo van (Transit, Sprinter short) | Full wrap | $4,000–$7,000 |
| Sprinter / box truck | Full wrap | $5,500–$10,000+ |
| Any vehicle | Partial wrap | $1,200–$3,000 |
| Any vehicle | Door logos + lettering | $400–$1,200 |
Ranges include design, print on cast vinyl with UV laminate, professional installation, and cleanup. Final quote depends on the factors below.
What drives the price
Vehicle size & complexity
Bigger panels need more vinyl, but curves, recesses, door handles, and bumpers drive labor more than square footage. A Sprinter with flat slab sides can be cheaper to wrap than a curvy modern sports car.
Coverage
Full wrap (every painted panel) vs. partial wrap (rear quarters, hood, or one side) vs. decal package (logos and text only). Coverage is the single biggest price lever after vehicle size.
Vinyl quality
Cast vinyl from 3M or Avery is the industry standard for color changes and full wraps — thinner, more conformable, 5–7+ year durability. Calendered vinyl saves money on flat panels and short-term promotions but isn't appropriate for full wraps.
Design complexity
A clean logo-and-color layout prints and installs faster than a custom illustration with photographic imagery, gradients, or panel-matched art across multiple seams. Reusing existing brand assets keeps design hours down.
Print + laminate
Printed wraps need a UV laminate over the print to protect the ink — non-negotiable for outdoor durability. Solid-color cast vinyl doesn't need laminate, which is why color changes can cost less than printed wraps of the same coverage.
Removal of old wrap
If the vehicle is currently wrapped, removal adds $300–$1,500 depending on vinyl age, sun exposure, and how the previous installer prepped the paint.
Frequently asked
How much does a vehicle wrap cost?
Most full vehicle wraps fall between $2,500 and $7,500 installed. Cars and small SUVs typically run $2,500–$4,500, full-size trucks and vans $3,500–$6,500, and box trucks or sprinters $5,500–$10,000+. Partial wraps and decal packages start around $500–$1,500.
What drives the price of a vehicle wrap?
Four factors: vehicle size and complexity (curves, recesses, door handles), coverage (partial vs. full), vinyl quality (cast 3M/Avery premium vs. calendered economy), and design complexity (custom illustration vs. logo-and-text layout).
Cast vs. calendered vinyl — which should I choose?
Cast vinyl (3M 1080/2080, Avery Supreme) is thinner, more conformable, and rated 5–7+ years outdoors — the right choice for full wraps and color changes. Calendered vinyl is thicker and cheaper, fine for flat panels, short-term promos, and simple decals.
How much is a partial wrap or decal package?
Door logos, lettering, and contact info typically run $400–$1,200. Partial wraps that cover the rear quarters, hood, or full sides land $1,200–$3,000 depending on coverage and print complexity.
How long does a vehicle wrap last?
A professionally installed cast-vinyl wrap typically lasts 5–7 years on vertical panels, less on horizontal surfaces (hood, roof) with constant sun. Garage-kept vehicles and regular hand-washing extend life noticeably.
Does a wrap damage paint?
No — when installed on factory OEM paint in good condition and removed within the vinyl's rated life, a wrap protects the paint underneath. Aftermarket paint, repaints, and clear coats failing before the wrap was installed are the usual exceptions.
How long does installation take?
Most full wraps are 3–5 business days in the shop after design approval. Design and print typically add 1–2 weeks. Fleet rollouts are scheduled to stagger downtime across vehicles.
Do you offer fleet pricing?
Yes. Three or more vehicles on the same design get fleet pricing — usually a 10–20% per-vehicle reduction once tooling, proofs, and print setup are amortized across the fleet.
