§ Local to Bloomington, IL

Your storefront has about three seconds to convert a driver into a customer. We design, fabricate, and install exterior signs that earn those three seconds — for retailers, restaurants, and service businesses in Bloomington, Normal, McLean County, and the rest of Central Illinois.

Storefront signage is a permit job, an engineering job, and a brand job all at once. We pull the City of Bloomington or Town of Normal permits, coordinate with landlords and property management, and handle the electrical disconnect/reconnect when a sign is lit.

Every exterior we ship is built around UL-listed components, gasketed against Central Illinois weather, and engineered for the substrate it lands on — EIFS, brick, panel, or precast. Same crew that drew it, builds it, installs it.

They handled the city, the landlord, and the electrician — I just unlocked the door on install day. The sign was already on.

§ FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do you pull the sign permit in Bloomington or Normal?
Yes. Permit drawings, structural callouts, and submission to the City of Bloomington or Town of Normal are included in every exterior project. We also coordinate landlord approvals when the lease requires sign criteria sign-off.
How long does a storefront sign take from contract to install?
Plan on 4–8 weeks total: 1–2 weeks for design and engineering, 1–3 weeks for municipal review, and 2–3 weeks for fabrication. Re-faces and relamps can land in under 3 weeks total.
Channel letters vs. lit cabinet — which is right for my storefront?
Channel letters read as more premium and are required by some landlords; cabinets are typically faster to install, easier to update, and lower upfront cost. We walk both options against your sign code allowance and visibility from the road at the consult.
Can you re-face or relamp my existing cabinet sign?
Yes — re-facing an existing cabinet and retrofitting modern LED is one of our most common projects. It's usually 30–50% of replacement cost and brings the brand up to date in a single install day.
Do you service signs after install?
Yes. We offer LED relamps, face replacements, and emergency outage service for any lit storefront sign in the Bloomington-Normal area — including signs we didn't originally fabricate.
