Hink's Smokehouse BBQ bought a used 25-foot food trailer that arrived still wrapped for a barbecue company from another state. Simply Divine Signs & Wraps stripped a decade-old wrap down to bare paint, then designed and installed a new identity that stays connected across serving windows, doors, and hardware.
§ A. The Challenge
What the customer needed
The trailer came with someone else's business on it. A Missouri barbecue company's wrap, at least ten years old, cracked and failing but still legible enough to advertise the wrong name at every event. Getting it off was most of the job before any new work could start. Underneath was red paint, adhesive residue, and ghosting where the old letters had been. The serving side made the new design harder than a flat panel: serving windows with folding panels, doors, drip sills, and electrical and connection outlets, all of them interrupting any graphic that runs the length of the trailer.
§ B. The Solution
What we did
We surveyed the trailer at the customer's place before it ever came to the shop, measuring every panel so the design could be built to the trailer rather than fitted to it afterward. Then we removed the old wrap and prepped the surface underneath. The new design, created with the customer's input, uses a white barn wood texture with a red band top and bottom, the Hink's pig mark, and a bourbon barrel on the entry door for their bourbon barbecue sauce. Because the panels were measured first, the barn texture and the red bands read as continuous across the serving windows, the doors, and the hardware instead of breaking at every seam.

What changed after install
Hink's travels the trailer to events across Central Illinois, which means the wrap does most of their advertising before anyone tastes anything. It reads as one piece from a distance and holds together up close, where the serving windows and hardware would show any misalignment. The trailer stopped advertising a barbecue company from another state.
